A 16-seater Young Shall Grow Motors with registration number EKY 733 XD leaving Lagos state to the east had an accident today and twelve passengers died, The accident occurred at about 1pm along Benin by pass. The driver of the bus with also died
An eye witnesses, the bus was coming from Lagos and was going to the Eastern part of the country when the incident happened. The driver lost control of the vehicle while trying to avoid oncoming SUV and in the process it crashed into a truck parked by the roadside, an eye witness said.
Unfortunately, the driver and 11 other passengers died on the spot. Only four people survived. Survivors are in critical condition
