Guinness World Records Announces A Selection Of New Bizarre Feats 2016

A speedy tortoise and a goalkeeping dog entered into the new Guinness World Records book. Other records from the 2016 edition of the popular tome include the world’s tallest married couple and a man with enormous feet. Here are some pics of the wackiest new records.
        

• 20-year-old Jeison Orlando Rodriguez Hernandez of Venezuela has the largest feet. Measuring 40.1cm (1ft 3.79in) for his right foot, and 39.6cm (1ft 3.59in) for his left, Jeison wears a size 26 shoe.

  

• Vijay Kumar of Bangalore, India, has more teeth than any human. He has 37 teeth. This is five more than is usually found in the average human mouth.

  

• Sun Mingming, 33, and his wife Xu Yan, 29, from Beijing claim the title for tallest married couple, measuring 7ft 8.98in (236.17cm) and 6ft 1.74in (187.3cm) respectively.

  

• Franchesca, a two-year-old angora rabbit from California, owned by Betty Chu, has made it into the 2016 Guinness World Records book for the longest fur on a rabbit. Her longest hair measures 36.5cm (14.37in).

  

• Purin, a nine-year-old beagle, lives with her owner Makoto Kumagai in Tokyo, Japan. The doggy has made it into the 2016 Guinness World Records book for the most balls caught by a dog with its paws in one minute. Purin managed to save 14 goals in 60 seconds.

  

• The world's fastest tortoise is Bertie. She currently resides at Adventure Valley in Brasside, County Durham, UK. Bertie clocked a speed of 0.28m/s (0.92 ft/s) on a specially designed racetrack in his enclosure.

  

• The largest hotdog cart in the world, measuring 2.81m (9ft 3in) in width, 7.06m in length, and 3.72m high, was created by 44-year-old Marcus Daily from Missouri, U.S.

  

• The largest cowboy boots measure 10.74m (35ft 3in) in height and were created by Bob Wade, aged 72, in Texas, U.S.

  

• The longest ballpoint pen is 5.5m (18ft 0.53in) long and weighs 37.23kg. The record was set by Acharya Makunuri Srinivasa, aged 56, from Nizamabad, India.

  

• The heaviest apple weighed 1.849kg (4lb 1oz) and was grown and picked by Chisato Iwasaki at his apple farm in Hirosaki City, Japan.
