According to Saturday Tribune, an unidentified young man in Ilobu community, Irepodun local government area of Osun state, met an unfortunate death while attempting to cut off the head of a corpse, buried in a certain Tonto compound within the area.
Reports say the suspect’s accomplices fled in terror after seeing half his body get stuck mysteriously in the grave. The death caused a lot of panic among the residents of the Ilobu community.
Rumours, which made the rounds, had it that the grave heist was for a ritual purpose. Witnesses confirmed that the victim and his cohorts went to Tonto compound in the early hours of the morning, hoping to exhume the corpse of an aged woman and sever her decomposed head.
