Fela's American Lover Arrives Nigeria For Felabration

The annual festival in celebration the great legendary Afro beat singer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Felabration is around the corner.

One of the prominent guests expected at the event is Sandra Izsadore who was also one of Fela’s numerous girlfriends.

Iszadore and Fela met in 1969 when he visited Los Angeles. She was his tour guide and along the line a relationship ensued between them.
Izsadore was not only Fela’s lover; she also influenced his pro-African beliefs. Fela once described her as his teacher, ‘Sandra gave me the education I wanted to know,’ he said. She also worked with Fela on a song titled, ‘Upside Down’ which Fela wrote for her to perform and that was the only song she recorded with Fela.

In 2012, Izsadore dropped a single on Nigeria where she featured two of Nigeria’s entertainers 9ice and Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson.
She is will deliver a keynote address on the topic, ‘Human Rights as My property’ alongside other speakers like Ayo Obe, Kunle Ajibade and Chidi Odinkalu while Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola the former Lagos state governor will be the chairman of the event.
Felabration is a week-long musical event in memory of Fela Anikulapo Kuti since 2008. The celebration takes place during the week of Fela’s birthday and it is the brain child of Yeni Kuti, Fela’s eldest daughter.
Expected to perform at 2015 Felabration which runs between October 12 and 18 are London Afrobeat Collective, Sandra Izsadore ad Third World and some Nigerian acts like Falz, Olamide, Iyanya, Tekno, Waje, Burna Boy, Kiss Daniel among others will thrill guests.

9 Signs Your Partner Will Be Faithful To You

Everyone wants a faithful partner, but it can be pretty difficult to determine whether or not that is the kind of partner you have. 

Most times, relationships come down to taking a leap of faith, but there are a few character signals that should give you an idea if the person you are dating is the kind to be faithful to one partner.



1. Openness: An unfaithful partner is usually a secretive one. So, people who are very open about all aspects of their lives are unlikely to be unfaithful. These kind of people are like open books – what you see is what you get. You do not have to dig too much to find out how the live and how they spend their time.

2. Previously Faithful: A serial cheater will most likely remain this way. A person who does not find it difficult to remain faithful in previous relationships is very likely to be faithful to you. Cheating is usually more about a person’s character than it is a reaction to their partner. That is to say, a person who does not naturally have it in him/her to cheat previously will most likely not have a reason to do so now.

3. Role model: We all have people we look up to when we think about our ideal relationships. Most of the times, these relationship role models turn out to be couples in the home we are from, like our parents. So, a person who grew up in a home where infidelity is the norm, will find it difficult to behave any differently when he/she begins dating. They assume this is how all relationships work and they are conditioned to act as such.

4. Friends: Just like with role models, our friends have a lot of influence on the way we behave. We judge who we are and what we do according to what our friends do. So, if your partner is surrounded by friends who are not faithful in their respective relationships, then it is very likely that he/she will not be faithful too.

5. Keeps his/her word: A big sign a person will faithful is if he/she is very good at keeping his/her word. A person who keep promises and pulls through whenever they say they would is usually an honorable person and honorable people are very unlikely to be unfaithful.

6. No ex drama: Is your partner’s ex always in the picture and always finding ways to get back into your relationship? No ex will have the right or opportunity to worm their way into a relationship without permission.
So, if you are with a partner who either keeps talking about his/her ex, or getting messages from them, then it is likely because your partner allows this to happen. This also means, your partner is leaving the door of communication open just in case the right opportunity comes along. It is a sign that he/she is not ready to be fully commited to you.

7. Happiness: A person who is content and happy in his/her relationship is unlikely to cheat as they are confident that they are getting all they want where they are. Relationships are like anything else, once you feel fulfilled and happy in a particular position, it is unlikely that you will want to risk your happiness and neither will you feel the need to be curious about what else is out there.

8. Not greedy: Some people are naturally greedy in character. No matter what they have they are still obsessed with getting what others have. They are hardly ever content as they always believe there is always room to get something more or something better. People with this character trait are will not make faithful partners. No matter how great their partners are, they will always be seeking for something better elsewhere.

9. Secure: Being a secure person means you believe in yourself, with or without a partner. It means you do not completely depend on the opposite sex to determine who you are. These kinds of people are confident, and they know who they are.
To them, a relationship is not just something to boost their egos, or make them feel pretty and wanted. They go into a relationship because they want to join forces and build a life with someone. These kinds of people have no time for insincerity and games. They usually make really good partners.

Justin Bieber's Nude Photos Leaked

Pop star Justin Bieber is on his way to breaking the internet. Nude photos of the 21-year old Canadian singer went viral on Wednesday causing a stir on social media.
 

In the photos taken by paparazzi while the star was on vacation in Bora Bora, Justin’s penis and backside were on full display.

The size of the of the young singer’s penis has been a subject for debate since he posed for a Calvin Klein underwear advert in January. The advert showed a well hung Justin.
However, a website, Breathe Heavy, countered the images it deemed as photoshopped with ‘authentic’ pre-shoot pictures of a much ‘smaller’ Justin. The Bora Bora paparazzi photos appear to have proved them wrong and confirmed the Calvin Klein ad.
Justin was on vacation with friends.

Justin’s father, Jeremy Bieber, on Friday tweeted about his son’s member, showing admiration for what he helped make.

The tweet has since been deleted.

The Baby singer was discovered in 2007 by his current manager, Scooter Braun, after Justin’s mother, Patricia Mallette, posted videos of her son singing and playing the guitar on Youtube.
Patricia and Jeremy were teenage sweethearts, who broke up soon after their son was born. Justin was mostly raised by his mother and maternal granparents although his father played an active role in his life.
The Canadian, who resides mostly in the United States due to his music, has released four albums since 2010: My World 2.0, Under The Mistletoe, Believe and Purpose.
The wholesome Christian boy image he first presented to the world, which earned him millions of teenage fans called Beliebers, was stripped following media reports of his bratty behaviour including peeing into a mop bucket at a restaurant, fighting with paparazzi and getting arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
He is currently trying to redeem his image in the eyes of the media and disappointed fans.

Man Filmed Carrying Severed Wife's Head Through Busy City Streets

A man was filmed casually walking along the street with a woman’s  head in one hand and a bloodied axe in the other in the city of Pune, India, on Friday.

According to local media reports, the man is 53-year-old Ramchandra Chavan who murdered his 45-year-old wife, Sonabai, after she allegedly cheated on him.

A jealous husband suspected his spouse and their son-in-law in having a love affair for a long time and finally decided to put an end to their relationship in the most cruel way possible.

Police officers arrested the man and finally took him to police station

On fateful morning, the two again got into a heated argument that turned itno a tragedy. As the quarrel worsened, Ramchandra locked his daughter-in-law and two grandsons in the house and violently attacked Sonabai with an axe.
Then he picked up the head and the murder weapon before walking towards the police station. Soon one of the horrified locals, who spotted the man walking along the road with an axe and woman’s head, called the police.

Woman Tortured By Her Lover For 8 Days Shares Her Ordeal

A woman was brutally beaten and raped by her ex-boyfriend during an eight-day ordeal Chorley, Lancashire, England, UK.
Karen Hanna who almost died at the hands of her fomer lover, Anthony Phillips, is nor urging other victims of domestic violence to seek help before it is too late. Years after being on the edge of life and death she plucked up her courage to tell her own story of love and torture.

She said: “Knowing Anthony from the past, I felt like we had a connection. There was a spark between us. He’d had his own problems but he had turned his life around too. I felt as though we could make a fresh start – together.

But just two weeks we strated dating, Anthony showed his darker side. He kept accusing me of looking at other men everywhere we went. One day I was just looking out of the window but he thought I was ogling another man. He started hitting me and pulled out a clump of my hair.
The next day he gave me a sob story about how difficult his life had been and how much he loved me, she explained. Stupidly, I believed him. I was scared of going to court and I always think everyone deserves a second chance. However, he was recalled to jail and things get worse. 

He was paranoid and controlling – even from his prison cell. He was forever phoning me and accusing me of sleeping with other men. I told him to leave me alone – but he didn’t listen. On Christmas Day, he rang me 142 times. After he was released, I thought if I saw him, he would accept the reality.

But when we got inside my flat, he clicked the lock in the door, and said to me: “I will be going to prison for you”. My blood ran cold. I knew he was planning something sinister. I had to make up stories about having sex with my landlord and with men I knew – because it gave him a thrill.The next eight days he raped and beat me, pulled out clumps of my hair, smashed my teeth with a TV remote control, cracked my ribs, broke my nose and stood on my throat repeatedly. Even when he dozed, I was awake, trying to pluck up the courage to escape. But I was terrified, I knew if he caught me he would kill me.”
However, after Anthony fell into a drunken stupor Karen managed to escape and went straight to the police. Phillips was arrested but the nightmarish feelings of insecurity, anxiety and constant fear didn’t leave her for a long time.

She was depressed and even attempted to end her life but with the help of a domestic violence advisor she pulled herself together and decided to use her experience to help other women. She said:“Take what little strength you have in your body and get out of it. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. It’s a long, hard road but it’s worth it.”

Messi Faces 22-Month Jail Term Over £3.1Million Tax Fraud

Barcelona and Argentina superstar, Lionel Messi is presently facing tax evasion charges and is likely to stand trial alongside his father.
The judge in charge of the case in Spain, reportedly rejected the request by prosecutors to drop the charges against the striker and his father Jorge, who are accused of defrauding Spain of more than €4m (£3.1m; $5m) and have denied.

If the lawyers’ requests are taken into consideration, the football wizard and his dad face 22-month jail term after some prosecutors alleged that Jorge avoided paying tax on his son’s earnings by using offshore companies in Belize and Uruguay in 2007-09.
